Champions of open-access, unite! Internet Archive will be sponsoring an Experiments day, just before their big October 11th event. Let's work together to show the world what our community is capable of — Let's make knowledge more accessible to those who need it most.
Experiments created for the hackathon have a chance of being showcased online and at the Internet Archive's public aniversary event in October.
If you cannot attend in person, remote participation will also be supported and encouraged.

Project Topics
- Decentralizing the Web for Academic Journals
- Annotations for Books and Wayback
- Metadata for Books and other multimedia: Team with Long Now Foundation's Manual for Civilization project match their library to digital copies on the Open Library. Team with Wikidata to improve Open Library author and book data.
- Experimental Prototypes and interfaces to help users better discover and use open access content like books, music, etc.
